Developed by the Hines real estate firm out of Houston, TX, Acadia on the Charles is geared for a completion date of May 2015 and is progressing on schedule thanks to the construction management team of Callahan, Inc. This new multi-family luxury apartment complex is located on a 4.1 acre site and will include 4 floors with 200 units, and a two story parking garage.
With the purpose of offering luxury rental apartments, Acadia on the Charles will provide high-end amenities for the residents. Callahan Inc. is building the project based on a CUBE3-Studio M-shaped design. The design is to include a 2-story structural steel framed, on-grade parking structure with 400 parking spaces as well as a full service pet grooming space.
Features will include a resort-style swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, theatre room, lounge, and an internet café.
The construction management services of Callahan Inc. have proven more than substantial. The framing of Block 1 is already complete and the first floor of Block 2 is at the 4th floor. All elevator shafts have been completed as well as Block 1’s roofing. Also finished are the “pre rock” and fire separation walls. The mid-level garage is currently complete and exterior siding and masonry begins mid-April.
