We are proud to be sponsoring this event in celebration of all the amazing work this organization does every year in the community.

“Each year Groundwork Lawrence helps thousands of Lawrence residents, youth, businesses, and community organizations “change places and change lives,” tackling our community’s most intractable challenges. Groundwork’s Glow Gala and Annual Fundraiser supports that work and helps to sustain the “glow” of our impact in the community. Proceeds from this event directly support our environmental and open space programs, youth education and employment initiatives, food access programs and community events.

Planting trees in residential neighborhoods reduces energy bills, absorbs floodwaters, improves water quality and reduces runoff and erosion. This year, Glow
Gala will highlight our “GreenStreets” initiative. With support from the Massachusetts Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, GWL has embarked on a journey to plant 2,400 trees in Lawrence over the next three years. Glow Gala 2016 is on Nov. 17.” – Groundwork Lawrence
