Special Report: The Fall of the Calanor
Intelligence reports that another system has fallen under the influence
of the VOX.
As of this date, any ship or life form from the Calanor Confederation should
now be considered hostile and destroyed.
History
Located in the Crux constellation, the Calanorian system has three suns
and twelve planets. The total population of the Calanorian civilization
is 35 billion life forms. Calanor is located 1,000 light years from Earth.
The Calanor Confederation had been space faring for approximately 1,000
years when they heard rumors of the VOX Plague.
Orders from the Calanor High Council listed Sector Nar Nix Nu (3x9x5 in
Terran numbering schemes) as “dead Space”-no one in and anything coming
out was to be destroyed. Progress outward from Delphinus Gamma (purported
source in that part of space for the VOX infection) was tracked for another
500 Earth Standard years before accidental contact and infection occurred
with the Calanorian Deep Range Science Vessel “Zirif” in a sector on the
far side of VOX-infected space.
No one realized until it was too late the “Zirif” had been infected by
the VOX when she folded, under VOX influence, directly into Calanor orbit
and ejected her lifepods full of infected crew onto the surface of the
planet. In less than 24 Standard Earth hours, the VOX had claimed another
space-faring race.
When the VOX infected them, less than two billion on the outlying colonies
in Scorpius, Crater, and Corvus remain uninfected. These Calanorians joined
the Triad in the fight to free their home world from the VOX.
Data on the Calanor System
The Calanorian system has three suns (Alpha, Beta and Gamma) and twelve
planets.
ACRUX
Acrux is a B class star with five planets. The Calanor home world is the
fourth planet.

BECRUX
Becrux is also a B class star with four planets. Calanorian spaceships
use it for a refueling station and as a slingshot for accelerating out
to their fold point is space. Planet 1, Fet, also is a major staging area
for the Calanorian First Shock Fleet.

GACRUX
Gacrux is an M class star in the Calanorian System. Gamma
has three planets, all rock. It has mineral rich planets with mining colonies
on tow of the three, plus it has another military staging area on planet
1, Zur, and a prison facility on the distance frozen planet three, Paltor.

Gas giant Over 200 rings and 30 moons, Kra has protected
