Completed in April 2010, this expansion of Infoscitex’s Waltham Headquarters created a loft-like feel that diverges from the traditional corporate office environment. Open visitor spaces and glass front private offices allow for a fluidity of interconnecting spaces which encourages employee interaction and collaboration while supporting the client’s goals of creating a non-traditional corporate office space.
The use of new and innovative materials along with non-traditional lighting solutions was essential for creating a successful interior that supported Infoscitex’s culture. The open café, fire place, soft seating configurations and expanse of natural light into the space created a comfortable setting and exceptional workplace for employees and visitors alike. This was a fast-track design project that compressed design and construction into a six month time frame.
This project was awarded IIDA’s 2011 Interior Design Award – Best Office Under 30,000 SF.
