The site for the proposed residential development is located along Moosehill Road in Walpole, MA. The site is made of three separate parcels that are currently zoned as residential. Proximity to both I-95 and Route 1 provide excellent accessibility for commuters into Boston and other commercial areas such as Providence, RI. Certified wetlands extend into the parcels, and the Project Team laid out the buildings to avoid being within the fifty foot wetland setbacks. The majority of the site is surrounded by trees and other vegetation to an extent that the proposed buildings would be neighbored on one side.
The approach to the architecture is for it to reflect the New England vernacular present throughout the Walpole community while also complimenting the nearby non-residential structures. The three residential buildings are set back from Moosehill Road by 500 feet at their closest point, reducing their visual impact on the streetscape. Vegetation along the edge of the site will also limit the view lines from Moosehill Road and the visual impact of the residential buildings beyond. Amenities include recreation area, fitness center, and an outdoor pool & lounge.
