This Transit Oriented, mixed-use residential development consists of contemporary apartments in a community design that has been developed in close cooperation with the local community and is included in a national LEED Pilot program for Neighborhood Development.
Adhering to local historical context, and creating buildings that respect the desires of the surrounding neighborhoods were among the core goals behind the design of the project. The community has a “town green” at the center of the development, with substantial urban public space and park area, surrounded by the retail and mixed use functions at the ground floor. Public involvement has ensured that this new residential development will integrate itself into the town and provide needed retail and business services.
The project includes a 6,500 SF community clubhouse with a fitness center, theater and other amenities as well as an additional pad for the development of a new 70,000 SF commercial office building and associated parking.
