CUBE 3 is a dynamic architectural firm that provides creative design solutions for a wide range of architecture, interior design and planning challenges. We are currently seeking a talented and energetic design leader to add to our growing team.  This is an opportunity to work closely with the firm partners and help shape the design direction of this fast-paced, exciting firm.


Works under direction of Project Manager. Responsible for specific technical design aspects of projects including investigation, evaluation, and development of design solutions. Performs assignments under direction with emerging responsibility for design.  Includes coordination with consultants, internal and external team members, and organization of Construction Documentation.   Works closely with QA/QC director to ensure complete project review and supports activities of the Project Manager in all aspects of the project.  Able to create, review and approve concept design options, assign tasks to other team members, and maintain project schedule. Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large, complex projects. Independently makes decisions on architectural design problems and methods. Reviews and approves conceptual designs. Demonstrates clear commitment to projects and clients.

  • Strong experience and demonstrated proficiency in all design phases including a minimum of two completed projects including Construction Administration.
  • Experience organizing & assembling construction documents; proven technical skills in detailing
  • Ability to communicate effectively with consultants, clients, and contractors; experience coordinating work of consulting engineers.
  • Technically skilled; experience using 3-D modeling software; BIM proficiency;
  • Strong communication, organizational and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and provide support to multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to run internal meetings, consultant meetings, and emerging ability to prepare and coordinate required project presentations.
  • Involved in Business Development opportunities.
  • An experienced Revit user, proficient in all aspects of Revit as a document and design tool.

The ideal candidate must provide the following to be considered:

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor or Masters of Interior Design Degree from an accredited school
  • 5-8 years professional experience in all phases of commercial design
  • Strong technical portfolio
  • Advanced experience in documenting design using Revit & CAD
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Completion of NCIDQ preferred
