Architectural – Project Manager

Type of Employment:  Full-time
Experience Level:  5-10 Years
Location:  Lawrence MA, Boston MA, Miami FL

Position Summary:

Provide assistance throughout the design process, including programming, preparation of design and Construction Documents.  Work includes development of presentation materials, involvement in the creation of Schematic Design, Design Development and Contract Documents, model building, renderings and Construction Administration activities under routine guidance.

Pre-Requisite Qualifications:

  • BA/MA degree in Architecture
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal skills
  • Resourcefulness in solving problems
  • Excellent writing and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
  • Have a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail
  • Have a passion for good design
  • Have a successful track record of completing large-scale multi-family, commercial, institutional or health care projects on schedule and within budget
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with self-initiation and minimal instruction
  • Solid understanding of ADA, MAAB, FHA and other applicable Codes
  • Ability to lead and manage project teams, clients, consultants
  • Be responsible for all phases of design and see a project from inception to construction completion
  • Ability to deal with municipal authorities, make public presentations
  • Ability to lead and coordinate a comprehensive set of Construction Documents
  • Have solid Construction Administration experience and knowledge of construction methods
  • Ability to mentor and help train younger staff
  • Planning skills a plus

Technically and Production Proficient

  • AutoCAD or Microstation CAD drafting
  • Revit – Required
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
