455 Harvard is a small, predominately residential building on Harvard St in Brookline between Coolidge Corner and Allston Village. The design respects the residential nature of the surrounding neighborhood while extending the Harvard Street retail corridor from Coolidge Corner. The mixed-use building consists of 3 wood-frame multifamily floors above one level of non-combustible podium construction and active storefront space featuring a retail bay and lobby for residents. The multifamily floors include 17 leasable units varying from studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom options. Amenities include lobby, gym, and private roof decks. 455 Harvard Avenue is developing a space saving puzzle system which parks 5 cars for every 3 standard parking spots. This semi-automated system saves space without affecting vehicle retrieval times.
