13 Jun Dartmouth College Topping Off

Luke Beck and Tyler Cashton were on site this week at 25 West Wheelock on the Dartmouth campus for the unofficial topping off of the new Russo Hall student housing project! There was no official ceremony, but we couldn’t let that slide, so the team 3D printed our own commemorative steel beam to celebrate the milestone. We have six more of these models on the way, which will be gifted to the Dartmouth College and Northstar team. So cool!
The student housing project consists of approx. 282 beds across 80 apartment style dwelling units that will each have a full kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and storage space. The project features two “halls” with a middle connector that will help define both the main entry and exterior landscaped spaces. The building is a blend of institutional style architecture (non-combustible construction with high end exterior materials) with touches of developer model-multifamily. The building is being designed to target LEED Gold certification and will incorporate high-performance building materials.
