It’s hard to believe it’s been 15 years since Aaron Bancroft joined CUBE 3 as a project architect. During this time he’s been deservedly promoted to Associate Principal, Senior Associate Principal and then Principal. A graduate of Syracuse University who enjoyed the opportunity to study architecture in Florence, Italy, Aaron has proven himself to be an inspiring leader and reliable contributor on dozens of projects. He is an invaluable member of our team and leads the firms QA/QC and Construction Administration protocols. Aaron is a great asset to CUBE 3 and we look forward to his continued success at the firm. What attracted you to join the CUBE 3 team? Young office with lots of energy and talented people. Nik sold me on the company’s entrepreneurial spirit and that I will never be bored. That has certainly been true.

What is your role at CUBE 3? Principal and Director of QAQC

What’s a lesson you have learned that has most benefited you in your career? Casting a wide net and seeking a consensus whether with internal staff or outside consultants to get to the best possible solution.

What inspires you? My family. Our kids keep us going.

How did you get here? What were you doing before, and what made you decide to go into Architecture? Architecture was something that I was interested in early. In high school, I would look for opportunities to tie unrelated project assignments to architecture. I remember projects on Westminister Abbey in London and the Seagram’s Building in NYC among others.

What area(s) do you specialize in? QAQC side of the company

What is your favorite C3 project? Northeastern University Tower for what it meant to the growth of the company with a new project type.

What is your favorite C3 memory? Playing on the CUBE 3 softball team years ago. We didn’t win much but we had fun.

What is a skill you would like to learn and why? Speaking Portuguese because my wife grew up in Brazil.

Favorite quote? Always give your best effort and you never have to worry about what might have been – my parents

What is something you are most proud of? At CUBE 3, it has to be the growth of our QAQC procedures to deliver numerous project types across dozens of States.

Can you tell us a little about any personal hobbies or activities you are working on or passionate about? Right now, I’m busy being a dad and involved in the kids activities and it’s great.
