Last week, Senior Job Captain Richard Long joined 30 other architects from around the globe to attend the 2022 Rendezvous des Architectes mass timber construction conference in Montreal and Quebec Canada. Hosted by Eli Gould of Quebec Wood Export Bureau and sponsored by Quebec Investment, the 3-day event highlighted the innovations and technologies being developed in Canada for heavy timber construction. Ricky spoke with fellow architects, structural engineers, and vendors about their projects, lessons learned, and the ground-breaking and environmentally-conscious technologies.
